We enjoyed the movie. It lost momentum about 3/4 of the way through, and interest was gone from the 4 year old. He had a hard time understanding why they kept saying the word stupid (we’ve made it clear that it is not a word to be used lightly around here, and therefore labeled BAD). He also struggled with what was making the main Wild Thing (Carol? Caro??) so angry. We had to talk a lot the whole way through, but that’s why we went on a Tuesday afternoon. There were 4 other people in the theater, so we talked about it. I was in awe of how realistic these giant puppets looked!
I know! You make a Max wolf suit, out of fabric he picked out, and then you take him to see the movie we’ve been talking about!
I know it isn’t JUST like the movie, but its the best I could do with a pattern in my head and about 2 hours before we had to go. I shouldn’t have procrastinated as well as I did, but, I have a load of good excuses!
