Seriously, what crafter doesn’t have a Halloween post?
With that in mind, Super Hawley is a conglomeration of a pair of well loved super man pajamas, a new Super H cape ( courtesy of mom), and I wish I had a better pic of the full outfit, but, we ended up with a pair of “leggings” from a spiderman costume of mine from a decade ago, it happened that the sleeves fit his little legs perfectly providing the red and blue in just the right spots. There will be more from this spidey costume later in the month… I’ll get some pics after I see Nana’s photo collection…
Little growling Murphy was going to be a pirate. However, he wouldn’t keep his jacket on. After my quick trip to Portland, I came home with a tiger suit that belonged to Auntie Michelle when she was about 4 ( that would be ’round 18 years ago). With a little tacking it fit well enough, and with a little skull cap, voila. Murphy only kept it all on by learning to growl, rawar!
We carved pumpkins a day or two ago, Murphy found it very goooey, and Hawley was really into the whole idea this year, we lit them and positioned them so he could see them from his window. Like glowing ghoulish nightlights.
