I put all the pictures I took together, I hope to have a picture of me wearing the shirt tomorrow, but here’s a place to start.
I took 3 of the same crew neck t-shirt. I got them each for a $1. Then I took one shirt and cut the neck deeper scoop neck and cut the sleeves off. I hemmed the neck and arm holes so the raw edges were tucked under.
I took another of tee’s and cut the shirt up in a way that gave me the longest strips. The strips need to be wide enough to gather at the seams. I did a rough draft and pinned the 4 strips where I needed them to wrap. I sewed the 4 strips down on the outside of the shirt.
Then I turned the shirt inside out and stitched down the side
seams to cinch the armholes and sides. This also hides the raw
edges. I did the same at the top seams by the neck hole. (see photo on right)
