What a milestone when your first babe hits their first 100 days of school!
So we went out with our refashions and pillaged the Dutch Bros! About our refashions: Murphy just got a pair of short pants torn up a bit to look “weathered”. Hawley’s outfit is a reworked hoody, sweats that were cut up and a plain white tee with stripe sleeves added. I put the sleeves in so that the shoulder opening so that the wrist portion of the new shirt was wider. This gave the appearance of being well worn. They had on leather scraps for belts. My outfit is a plain black cotton dress that I slit up the front and sides. I added the eyelets arfter the seams to put a faux corset look to it. I wore a lacey sleeveless dress underneath and a striped shirt. THose three items cost me less than a dollar thanks to bag sales. then a sash and lots of “jewels”. I was trying to get the scullery maid/wench look going.
I did get to wear my fav stripe tights, and Hawley and Murphy were in stripes. Murphy wouldn’t keep his hat on in the car. So when we got out for this pic he was ust a regular skalliwag:
I took a lot of pictures of Hawley’s class as I always do. But I do not have permission to flash their cute faces on my blog, however, I do have my boys being exceptionally wonderful with each other…
Murphy is soooo dilligent when it comes to drawing. Whether its on my walls or where Mrs.G tells him to! It was really cute to watch him.
