It’s everywhere! And it’s eassssy. I promise. So I decided to go bold.
A few months after that, we had a reception to celebrate with everyone else that knew us. The whole shebang came in around $500. This is the dress I wore to that party. I managed to keep it clean until our friend Jimmy showed up drunk and spilled a large cup of Monkey Face Porter down the back of my dress…. Luckily it washes out. Since then, I have not been able to fit into this summer dress more than twice. Now it fits, but its white… and reminds me of getting married. A very happy occasion to be sure, but, I wanted to wear it someplace other than a wedding. So I used Dylon ocean blue and following these easy instructions at Cottons and Curls, dyed my dress…
Although the lyrics to this song are so very far from my own experience, I can’t help thinking about it every time I think of WHITE WEDDING dresses.
