There are some days when all my cards line right up. The kids are patient, kind, play with each other with ease. The sewing machine pretends like I know what I am doing and creating something wonderful is easy. On these days I make gourmet meals, eat my greens. I can clean the house in record time and get all the laundry done, folded and put away.
Sunday was not that day.
Sunday was a day of whining, McDonald’s, seam ripping and tears. I wasn’t crying, I was ripping lots of seams. Sunday meant getting infuriated at pop-up sites and lack of split wood. opting out of cleanup for silent embroidery time. It is always a downer when your projects fall through.
But, thankfully, Monday is a shining start to get the week rolling. There was a two hour delay for school due to surprise snow. In those two hours I caught up on all my basic chores that I didn’t do yesterday. I was able to complete projects at the studio today!
Murphy was very cooperative.
A kitschy kindle sack, a yoga mat bag (how to to come), a refashion and all the necessary clean up.
I finished 3 bags also. (Baa Baa Black Sheep…)
I made Bangars and Mash with balsamic roasted carrots for dinner.
I am feeling better.
I finished this for Venus also:
and I am working on designing a watermark, finally…
Thank you Monday, for getting the week rolling!
