We didn’t do too much for St.Patty’s day. Hawley had a mini tap recital at one of the assisted living facilities in town, and then we had Nana and Grandpa out for a yummy corned beef, taters, cabbage and carrots meal.
For the little recital I made some super quick holiday shirts for the boys. Using white shirts, and a green Sharpie for fabric, I used a clipart Shamrock to make a stencil and just stenciled them onto the shirt. It made them festive without over doing the green.
Murphy was very quiet while we were waiting and cooperated for the little dance number.
we had Guinness and Smithsons, and the boys were in bed by 8, after eating green cake!
There was only one potato for leftovers. yum.
