I finished 3 of my 4 planned projects for the Umbrella Prints Challenge.
Do you remember I talked about it? I did this for two seconds last year, I made 3 very small items (here, here, and here) , and was distracted from finishing.
This tote is meant to be crooked in the piecing. I was using the tiny pieces to fill in where the other pieces were triangular or odd shaped. the quilting goes in a diagonal and the jute is a favorite of course. The wooden handles have a little extension with some piano keys cotton twill tape. I like this a lot and keep my extra camera gear in it that I am not always using.
This was my first idea, and it took the longest to complete. I used a doodle that I drew and added the pieces from my trimmings pack The yellow is much brighter than it appears here.
