It is no secret that I love laminate. I make a fair number of accessories because it’s what I tend to want the most. Pretty accessories. I know there is more to laminates than that and i felt it was high time to share what knowledge I have and to learn more myself. In the next few weeks I will be sharing laminate projects, tips and tricks galore. most of these will be linked to my pinterest. Throughout this week and the next I would love to see your laminate and oilcloth projects. chalkcloth is included!
please send me pictures and links to blog posts, flickr, pinterst, what have you.
Let’s get started!
Some things you should know:

my own tips:
1. it is easiest to sew on oilcloth, laminate, vinyl and chalkcloth with a walking foot. My sewing machine has it built in and it is a blessing. I love love love my walking foot.
2. I prefer to fold and hand press, using a bone folder.
3. hammer out thick seams.
4. Don’t get to discouraged!
Everyday I will offer up projects, my own experience and reviews. I intend to sew all the things I give you links too. It will be a busy couple of weeks!
