Can I tell you how much I love Shannon over at Luvinthemommyhood?
When I started this adventure into fiber, knowing a little crochet and NO knitting, I reached out to a few people in the sewing community that overlap, such as Jill and Celina. Shannon send me an incredible response email to my inquiry with information, links, and this great pattern!!!!!
The hannah hat is awesome. Its fast, its cozy, and honestly that Malabrigo Rasta yarn is awesome. (woah, just got sucked into perusing their free pattern links. I just put a bunch in my ravelry library!)
Normally if I wear a hat on my forehead I get itchy, Its one of the reasons I don’t often wear hats. But this yarn is great and the pattern fits so well, it didn’t get too hot.
I set up knitting this puppy around 6:30 AM and was done by 8:30 AM. seriously it went that quick! It felt good to finish something after the task of Wasabi knitting, that is still in progress… Those are some small stitches. ugh. I am glad I got this hat done too, because later that morning, I met the kindergartners at the Pumpkin Patch. It was 34* and snowing. uh huh. all our teeth were a chattering after a couple of hours of hay ride, petting zoo, and pumpkin gathering fun. But my head was cozy! Get the Hannah here!
