I took a break from the jilted. all of the little stitches go on forever and I needed more immediate satisfaction. So I worked on and finished my oatmeal pullover from Jane Richmond. However, something happened with the neck. I was so concerned with stretching the wool to ease about my self, that I think I may have stretched the collar. However, it is kinda nice. I like it. it shows enough of my tattoo to be kinda sexy and easy going. I will probably make more of these for the holidays for my sisters.
I also really wanted to whip up a chunky project from one of my twinkle’s knits book. I choose the twinkle hoodie after viewing this number from My So Called Handmade Life. But, I didnt have 4 skeins of the same color magnum, which was my bulkiest yarn to hand. So I thought I would try to make this a two tone number. Its an experiment. So far, it places a unique knit line up the back where the colors change.
I’ve also been craving new slippers. I have the cardi uggs, and while they are great, I don’t really wear them out of the house, and they are almost too much for indoors.
