I love my racerback tank. Its really my fav. But, I hate wearing bras. there. too much info maybe, but its true, I hate them. So when I saw this project from Ginger Makes, I buzzed over to papercut patterns for the pneuma tank.
Not only does it create interesting tan lines, but is an excellent gardening tank!
Its a full sun type of day. And I got sun burned through my sunscreen of course. Just a light one, but I always start the season that way. This pneuma is my muslin. I love it, all the sizes are accurate and the sports bra fits really well. I fully intend to make a grip of these. I actually have a Lululemon tank similar to this but it rubs under my arms in an uncomfortable way. So its getting replaced by a few of these.
because this is my muslin, I used what I had in excess and that didn’t have any other projects. So the bra portion is a 4 way stretch jersey I found at the goodwill ages ago. the tank portion is an eyelet jersey I got at Hancocks on the super clearance. I used 4 lengths of a red elastic I got a spool of from my friend Jaime at Carnie Couture.
I am super excited to go through all of my jersey and scraps and create a summer wardrobe of these awesome tanks. This is my first time working with Papercut Patterns, but I will go back, as they have several designs I adore.
