Some years I know exactly what I want to try to do different, but this new year, I am unsure. I think I would just like to get through without to many hiccups. To clear debt, to live fuller, to give my children more of my time and attention.
These things are not really all that different than any other year, but there may be some big changes in our lives mid way through, and I want to have some solid new routines in place to make the changes easier, if they happen.
I have been low in confidence lately. Confidence in my desires for this blog, in my own business adventures. I have a full time job outside the home now and I think that is contributing to my low confidence. It just doesn’t feel like I can catch up.

So I think this year the sewing will all be for #stashbusting This will also be for the knitting. No more fabric, no more yarn. I need to clear out what I have. Don’t worry I loaded up in December 🙂
I have numerous large unfinished projects, so those must be accomplished. I have patterns I haven’t touched, ideas that need to be let loose. I need a blog overhaul and some organization over the last years projects.

My gig at Sew Mama Sew also needs tending. I haven’t been reading all of your blogs as much as I should, so I would like to call out to sewing bloggers to leave a comment with your blog address, so I can come and check out your work!
There is a great need for organization, both online and off. My hubs laughs when I say I want to be more organized. He sees my piles of papers and fabric and thinks, this is never gonna change. I didn’t say I was gonna go all white and modern, just More organized from my current sense of order.
I want to do more and better cooking, with a more open palette. I’ve never been afraid of cooking, and I make all our meals, but have been feeling a bit underwhelmed in the kitchen. I want to try new foods more often, and show my children that food adventures are rewarding. Hopefully this will get through their picky eating habits.
