It is no secret how much I love Grainline. I have been making Scout‘s consistently over the years. It is my go to cotton box top. I think that is probably why I love Grainline. Staple pieces. Linden is a perfect addition.
I made 3 versions.
1. I did a plain cream french terry, which is most often worn. I wear it like a white tee shirt. ALL THE TIME.
2. Pleather front and standard sweatshirt for the rest. This one doesn’t get worn as much as I thought it would. When I layer anything under the pleather, you see all the folds of the fabric underneath, and that bothers me…
3. standard knit- Charley Harper giraffes. These giraffes make me think of football for some reason.
This pattern really is a great addition to any sewing arsenal. It is up to you to make it your own and really turn this sweatshirt into a masterpiece.
