Okay. Moss has been on my to-do list for a very long time. I had just enough of this Pendleton wool to make my very nerdy Moss.
I am not sure I should have done this in wool. I would like to make it again in another material. Something I can make more precise. The wool doesn’t press well. And the zipper flares a little.
It’s very cozy though. I decided to add my Dr.Who Donkey Kong tee and stripey loopey cardi to drink my tea with Bob Marley and really round out my nerdy self.
Like all Grainline patterns, Moss is very well written, precise and exact. Putting in the zipper was a lot easier than other patterns I have tried. That’s nice, because zip fly’s are my downfall. I’ve never sewn wool before. Not this kind of wool. I have been wanting this beautiful print from Pendleton but I can’t bring myself to spend the $84/yd. I am hoping when we move I can go to the outlet and find some good scraps.
