I’ve said this before, and I will say it many times over but I love having creative friends and family. They do some of the coolest things. While I can take a video, and even make it artsy, I would not have gone this far!
I met Brandon, of Sky High Pictures 20 years ago in Eugene. At that time, I was more into my social outings than being creative. I am glad I kept in touch with some of those very talented people I knew then!
We took a puppy with us also: Chopper III, he’s adorable and reminded the boys why we love having a slightly older dog.
I got a few still from our day at the dog park once the kids perked up. It was so hot here. I say that knowing that I sound like I am whining, but, we enjoyed it. The weather was highly unusual for June in the PNW though, so Climate Change is real folks (if you didn’t know that already). The boys enjoyed creating their own dog pile with a friend we brought with us as well:
I made a friend, a somewhat confused bee.
And they both got too hot, of course. Lots of water later we needed some short naps in the shade.
I saved this news until the end because I wasn’t sure what to say. My littlest sister, my canine relative, my mothers companion passed away today. With much love we say goodbye to Cricket. Rest in Peace. You brought so much to my mother during a rough time for her. We all loved you so much.
