I think we all make something at the holidays. Usually it’s cookies or nut/fruit bread (like banana- not fruit cake) sometimes we just “make” an effort and get schnapps and hot cocoa mix for the party. Making an effort does not imply that you need to hand make everything!
The only reason I make so much is because that is my normal. It is mind boggling to many people to ever make anything by hand. Whereas it confuses me to NOT make it myself. We are all different and that is amazing. That should be celebrated. Without that we would not have art, literature, religion, ingenuity, creation and so much much more ( I want to focus on the positive… not the obvious results in differing opinions).
That said, here are a few yummy gifts you can put together from around the internet that are not just cookies:
Clockwise from Top Left: Rosemary Cheese Crackers from BuzzFeed, Limencello from Alexandra’s Kitchen, Vanilla Extract from Everyday Reading, Tonic Syrup from BuzzFeed, Taco Seasoning from Love and Olive Oil
Clockwise from Top Left: Cinnamon Sugared Pecans from Cooking Classy, 10 minute Cranberry Jam from Amy’s Healthy Baking, Pork Dry Rub from savings lifestyle, Superfood Bites from My Life Cookbook, Boozy Bacon Jam from Brit and Co
