Over the summer, whenever I was feeling lost in my many sewing projects and classes and trying to juggle it all, I made an Ogden Cami (pattern by True Bias).
I love this pattern for a few reasons. The first is that it is easy and fast. The second is its elegance within a woven. Usually with a woven top you have darts and shaping to make it hit the bewbs just right, but the Ogden floats without those pesky details.
While my first Ogden was cute and distinct, it didst scream unusual. As my path has progressed with my Ogden creations, so has my desire to work outside the box. I didn’t go far, just to Zombie Pinups.
Yes, probably my favorite, or maybe the crazy dogs?
These little guys stole my heart, and I wear them all the time!
Let’s not forget the Octopus- in purple with gold on double gauze!
If you are looking for a quick piece to help your transition from summer to fall The Ogden may fit your needs perfectly.
